What is good teaching? As a parent, I must be mindful of choosing the best piano teacher to whom she will entrust the musical talent of my daughter.

Two years ago, a friend of mine recommended Mrs Mavis Choi to me. Since then, she became my daughter's piano teacher. Aside from a knowledgeable teacher, Mavis is always an encouraging teacher. She knows how to look at the different strengths and weaknesses of my daughter. She is also very patient on teaching my daughter. I strongly believe that she is the right teacher that I chose because of the good reviews that I hear from other parents and most especially the good things that my daughter utters in her mouth about Mavis.

Lastly, Mavis always personally tells me about how my daughter's progress. She is honest enough to discuss with me the problem that my daughter is facing from time to time. The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book. I believe that Mavis belongs to one of them. My daughter may forget what Mavis said, but she will never forget how she made her feel about music.
